I'd first like to say that I read the whole speech, and It really touched me. Now I'm just in high school, I don't know what the work "degree" means (well I do, but you know, I'm a freshy) but that speech made me more determined to game than I ever was, thanks Jeff it really was good. Second I just have to say THANK YOU FOR MAKEING A ZOMIE FILLED MMO. Seriously, thanks, it’s what I've always wanted. I'd also like to say that I like a lot of L4d's aspects. By far it was my favorite zombie game; the special infected is what gives it a great fell. If you could take fast past action, special infected, team work, great fields, from L4D, and fuse it with Dead risings tons of crazy weapons, and areas, then you got yourself a subscriber. Oh but make it 100 times better than those to games, k? Haha, thanks.

I always enjoyed blasting away at the ultra fast zombies in Left4Dead and found slow zombies too easy. Somewhere in between slow and fast zombies would be great or here's an idea how about some fast zombies and some slow zombies at the same time! Why do they all have to move at the same speed?... I also think that you should be able to transition from rural to urban areas and be able to access all sorts of different stores including supermarkets AND sporting goods stores. It would be really neat to allow almost anything you come across that is not bolted down to potentially become a weapon. Anyways...I am rambling. I am completely obsessed with zombie games and I am from Washington state! I wish you luck with your new company and the dvelopment of this new zombie MMO. I just wanted to throw out a few suggestions.

Apartment building is not the ideal safe spot, to big to be useful, will degrade quickly, and will be hard to keep up essential services. You need a good solid stone two story building, no windows on the bottom floor, but plenty on the upper floor. Something with a gigantic parking lot, or cleared field would be good too, to many tress and bushes could be a problem. You can find more water wells in the rural setting which means a small "quite" generator could easy run the pump, and lighting when needed. Keeping to the north may be a good idea too, not knowing the effects of zombies in snow, I can't imagine it would be good for them, and the upside is you can find plenty of trucks with plows. Good for snow or zombie hordes.
But, to get back on point, being near a city, but not in a city would be ideal, but stay out of the apartments.

This is a great speach that though it is directed to a specific group of people, the story is true for all parts of entertainment(specifically the 2nd to last paragraph) All that read or hear it should take it to heart.... on the other side, the true fanboy will scream, "Let the Carnage Begin!!!"
